(UTV|COLOMBO) – Luke Wilson has joined the ensemble cast of the upcoming “Zombieland: Double Tap” at Sony Pictures.

In the sequel to the 2009 horror comedy, the zombie slayers face off against new kinds of living dead that have evolved since the first movie, as well as new human survivors.

They have to also deal with the growing pains of their own makeshift family. Wilson’s role specifics are unknown, but he will star alongside Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone, Abigail Breslin, Zoey Deutch, Thomas Middleditch, and Rosario Dawson.

Ruben Fleischer returns to direct from a script by Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese. Filming is now underway ahead of an October release.
