(UTV|COLOMBO) – A Sub Inspector of Police (SI) attached to the Southern Special Crime Investigation Unit on Friday (22) arrested in connection with the missing of two businessmen in Bossa, Rathgama.
The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) on Monday (18) arrested the Inspector of Police (IP) Kapila Nishantha attached to the same Unit over the disappearance of the two businessmen, 33-year-old Manjula Asela and 31-year-old Rasen Chinthaka who were allegedly abducted from the residence of Asela last month.
Nishantha was remanded until 27 February.
