E-Health Card pilot project commences today

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The pilot project of the Government’s E-Health Card initiative is to be launched on Thursday (21).

As the preliminary stage of the programme, the E-Health Cards will be issued today at the Nagoda General Hospital, Kalutara, Beruwala Divisional Hospital, and at the Bandaragam District Hospital by the Minister of Health, Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine, Dr. Rajitha Senaratne.

Following the success of the pilot project, all citizens would be issued an E-Health Card within six-months.
