Navy apprehends a person with a locally-made weapon

(UTV|COLOMBO) – A Troop of Naval Personnel attached to the Eastern Naval Command has apprehended a person who possessed a locally-made gun, 47 boxes of matches, and 53 lead balls, while a foot patrol carried out in Uppural area on Tuesday (12).

Accordingly, the apprehended person along with other gears was handed over to Serunuwara Police for onward legal action.
