Term of Presidential Commission on SriLankan Airlines extended

(UTV|COLOMBO) – President Maithripala Sirisena has issued a Gazette Notification on Thursday (07) extending the term of Office of the Presidential Commission to inquire into allegations of large scale frauds and malpractices in SriLankan Airlines, SriLankan Catering Limited, and Mihin Lanka (Private) Limited, till 30 May.

The Commission established by the President on 31 January 2018 was appointed to investigate the large scale frauds and malpractices which occurred during the period from 01 January 2006 to 31 January 2018.
