Security to be tightened at Colombo Port

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The Sri Lanka Ports Authority (SLPA) has instructed to tighten the security around the Colombo Port in view of on-going raids on drug dealers and traffickers across the country.

Accordingly, the Minister of Ports and Shipping and Southern Development, Sagala Ratnayaka directed the SLPA to coordinate with Law Enforcement Authorities including Sri Lanka Police and Customs Departments in this regard.
