(UTV|COLOMBO) – The report compiled by the second Committee appointed to inquire into the alleged assault on the Prison inmates at the Agunukolapelessa Prison on 22 November 2018, has handed over its report to the Minister of Justice and Prison Reforms Thalatha Atukorale was handed over Tuesday evening (05).
The video footage of an incident where Prison Officers were seen assaulting a group of prison inmates, who were in remand custody at the Agunukolapelessa Prison.
The visuals were recorded by the Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) Cameras of the Prison.
