P. S. M. Charles reinstated as Customs Director General

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The Cabinet of Ministers has agreed to reinstate former Director General of the Sri Lanka Customs, P. S. M. Charles for a period of three-months.

The decision was reached during the weekly Cabinet meeting held on Tuesday (05).

Meanwhile, the Customs Trade Unions Alliance has called off their work-to-rule strike action after they were formally informed about the reinstating of Charles as the Customs Director General.
