Customs on work-to-rule from today

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The Customs Trade Unions Alliance launched a work-to-rule strike action on Thursday (31) in protest over an alleged decision to appoint retired Navy Officer, Rear Admiral Shamal Fernando as the new Director General of Sri Lanka Customs.

The Cabinet of Ministers recently approved the replacement of incumbent Customs Director General, P. S. M. Charles.
