(UTV|COLOMBO) – Seven students from South Eastern University who were arrested on Wednesday (23) for taking inappropriate photographs at the Kiralagala Stupa in Horowpathana will be produced before the Kebithigollawa Magistrate’s Court on Thursday (24).
They were arrested yesterday after a complaint was lodged at the Police Headquarters by the Buddhist Information Centre.
The group of youths had recently taken photographs of them while standing on the ruins of Kiralagala Stupa in Horowpathana and posted them on social media.
