Case against Ravindra Wijegunaratne postponed

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The case filed against Chief of Defence Staff, Ravindra Wijegunaratne in connection with the alleged abductions, has postponed until 03 April when it was taken up before the Fort Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday (16).

The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) informed the Court that a special investigation is being conducted into the incident. The Court ordered the CID to postpone the case until such investigation progressed.

Wijegunaratne, who was on bail also appeared before the Court today.
