‘Theravada Tripitaka’ declared a National Heritage

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The sacred ‘Theravada Tripitaka’ declared a National Heritage on Saturday (05) at a ceremony held in Matale under the patronage of the President Maithripala Sirisena.

The National Ceremony to proclaim the ‘Theravada Tripitaka’ as a National Heritage was held at the historic Aluviharaya Temple in Matale with the blessings of the Most Venerable Maha Sangha.
