(UTV|COLOMBO) – President Maithripala Sirisena has instructed the Secretaries of the ministries to comply with the circular issued by the President’s Secretary when appointing Chairpersons and Boards of Directors of State Owned Enterprises (SOEs).
The circular was issued on 31st December 2018.
The President also recently appointed a committee to appoint Chairpersons and Directors to government institutions to inspect and submit recommendations.
