(UTV|COLOMBO) – Thalawakele police say that a body of an unidentified woman has been recovered this morning (04) in the Upper Kotmale reservoir.
Residents, upon sighting the body, had informed the Police, who are currently acting to recover the body from the reservoir.
Police say that the dead body had been in the reservoir for several days and that the body had been badly damaged.
The Thalawakele police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
