Navy continues relief work for flood victims in the North [VIDEO]

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The relief teams of Sri Lanka Navy who have engaged in supporting the victims of flood affected areas of Kilinochchi and Mulathivu Districts, have cleaned up the wells polluted by floods and the affected people are being provided with pure drinking water dispensed through mobile RO plants established by the Navy.

Accordingly, as at now, 58 polluted wells have been cleaned by the Navy and distributed over 3,000 litres of drinking water which earnestly required by the distressed civilians, the Navy Media Unit stated, adding that the Sri Lanka Navy as a responsible counterpart of the national defence, is always of preparedness to assists the community in need.
