Parliamentary Committee Investigating Into Brawl met today

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The parliamentary committee investigating into the brawl during the parliamentary sessions on November 14,15 and 16th, during the no-confidence motion against former President Mahinda Rajapaksa met this morning (27) chaired by Deputy Speaker Ananda Kumarasiri.

The committee, when began its process earlier this month, is currently in the process of preparing a report.

Parliamentarians Ranjith Maddumabandara, Chamal Rajapaksa, Chandrasiri Gajadheera, Mavai Senadhirajah and Bimal Ratnaike are the members of the committee.

The committee is also expected to hold three more meetings during the first week of January.
