(UTV|COLOMBO) – A Rs.1765 billion Vote on Account to cover expenditures of the next 4 months, presented to the parliament by Finance Minister Mangala Samaraweera.

Vote on Account in Parliament today

A Vote on Account to allocate funds for essential State expenses and services, is scheduled to be presented before Parliament today (21).

In order to wage State sector employees’ and other Government expenses and services, the incumbent Administration must approve a Budget or a Vote on Account in Parliament before 01 January 2019, it is learnt.
