(UDHAYAM,COLOMBO) – The Central Committee, the Executive Committee and the All Island Working Committee of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party are scheduled to hold a meeting today.
The meeting will be held under the leadership of President Maithripala Sirisena.
Speaking to NewsRadio, member of the Central Committee Nandimithra Ekanayake said the meeting will commence at 9am at the Sri Lanka Foundation Institute.
Extensive discussions will be held on the present political situation in the country.
Members of the SLFP attached to the so-called Joint Opposition have decided to refrain from attending the meeting.
