(UDHAYAM,COLOMBO) – 10 Nigerian nationals arrested on charges of deceiving and embezzling money from individuals through Facebook will be produced before the Kaduwela Magistrate’s Court once again today.
The suspects were arrested after investigations revealed that the group obtained personal information of various individuals through Facebook and took money from their bank accounts.
The Criminal Investigations Department said the individuals had collectively embezzled approximately 2 million rupees.
