(UTV|COLOMBO) – The National Water Supply and Drainage Board has announced that a water cut will be imposed in several areas due to urgent repairs at the Nuwara Wewa water purification plant from 7.00 pm today (14).
Accordingly, the water supply will be disrupted in Anuradhapura, Wijayapura, Jaffna Junction, Kurundankulam and Rambewa.
In addition, 18 hours water cut will be imposed in several areas in Colombo from midnight 12.00 am on Sunday (16) to 6.00pm Sunday due to road development work, National Water Supply and Drainage Board announced.
The water cut will be imposed in Moragasmulla, Rajagiriya, Ethulkotte, Obeysekarapura, Bandaranayakapura, Nawala, Koswatta and Rajagiriya to Open University of Nawala and all connected by-roads.
