“Future decisions to be taken after SC’s verdict on Interim Injunction” – Lakshman Yapa

(UTV|COLOMBO) – Future political decisions will be taken after tomorrow’s (14) Supreme Court verdict on the Interim Injunction order, Parliamentarian Lakshman Yapa said following a meeting with President Maithripala Sirisena.

During the meeting with Parliamentarians of the United People’s Freedom Alliance (UPFA), President Sirisena stated that he will take Supreme Court’s opinion on the Interim Injunction order against Mahinda Rajapaksa into account tomorrow.

However, the President reportedly noted that he is not ready to reappoint the Leader of the United National Party (UNP), Ranil Wickremasinghe as the Prime Minister.
