Railway employees ready to launch 48 hour strike

(UTV|COLOMBO) – Executive Committee of Railway Operators Union has decided today (11) that Train drivers, Guards, Railway Controllers, railway station Masters and Surveillance managers will be engaged in the 48-hour token strike from 26th of this month night onwards, Secretary of the locomotive engine drivers association Indika Dodangoda told the media.

The strike carried out due to delay payment in cabinet approved M.P.1 and 2 salary scales.
