President’s refusal to appoint legitimate Govt. will affect salaries – UNP

(UTV|COLOMBO) – President Maithripala Sirisena’s refusal to appoint a legitimate Government has meant over one million Government employees will not receive salaries after 01 January 2019, the United National Party (UNP) tweeted on Monday (11).

“We demand that a Government who has clearly demonstrated that it holds the majority in Parliament be appointed,” the UNP further added.
