O/L student arrested for cheating at exam

(UTV|COLOMBO) – Balangoda Police on Thursday (06) arrested a student who allegedly answered the General Certificate of Education (GCE) Ordinary Level (O/L) Examination English paper with the answers he received on his mobile from another.

The student was questioned following a complaint from the Educational Authorities, the Police said, adding that a Tuition Master had assisted the student sending answers through text messages.

Tuition Master also taken into Police custody along with the student.
