President instructs Ministry Secretaries to fulfil duties without disruption

(UTV|COLOMBO) – President Maithripala Sirisena has instructed to all the Secretaries of the Ministries to fulfil their respective duties and responsibilities according to the laws of the country continuously without any disruption, as the Court of Appeal has issued an Interim Injunction restraining Mahinda Rajapaksa and the Cabinet of Ministers from carrying out their duties.

A special discussion was held with all the Secretaries to Ministries under the patronage of President Sirisena at the Presidential Secretariat, on Tuesday (04).

The President has also ordered all State services, Tri-Forces, and the Police to fulfil their duties and responsibilities with commitment towards the general public of the country and for the national security.
