Two Police Constables found dead at checkpoint in Vavunathivu

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The bodies of two Police Constables were found dead at a Police checkpoint in Vavunathivu – Batticaloa on Friday (30).

Inspector General of Police (IGP) Pujith Jayasundara has ordered a special investigation into the incident, under the supervision of the Superintendent of Police (SP)-in-Charge of Batticaloa Division.

The cause of deaths is yet to be determined.
