Motion to suspend Premier’s Office funds passed; Parliament adjourned till tomorrow

(UTV|COLOMBO) – Speaker Karu Jayasuriya has decided to adjourn the Parliamentary session till 10.30 AM on Friday (30) following the voting against seeking to suspend expenditures of Prime Minister’s Office.

The motion seeking to suspend expenditures of Prime Minister’s Office was passed with 123 votes. No votes were cast against it.
