Pakistan Army’s Signal Chief, Army Commander hold talks on matters of mutual interest

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The Signal Officer in Chief (SO in C) of the Pakistan Army, Major General Hafeez Ur Rehman currently in Sri Lanka to attend the Sri Lanka Signal Corps-organised International Symposium ‘Wave’ as a key contributor to the Sessions and the two-day long mega Exhibition at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) premises from 28 – 29 November, paid a courtesy call on the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Mahesh Senanayake Tuesday afternoon (27) at the Army Headquarters in Colombo.

Both of them held cordial discussions on matters of mutual interest and technological innovations on signalling sphere. Towards the end of the interaction, mementos were also exchanged, symbolising the goodwill of both friendly forces.

Major General Ajith Wijesinghe, Military Secretary, Major General Nilantha Hettiarachchi, Chief Signal Officer and Colonel Sajad Ali, Defence Attaché and two other Officers attended the meeting with the Commander of the Army.
