(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – Prevailing showery condition is expected to further enhance during next few days (from 2nd to 4th March) due to an atmospheric disturbance in the vicinity of Sri Lanka.
Fairly strong winds can be expected at times over the island and surrounding sea area.
Cloudy skies along with showers or thundershowers can be expected at times over most parts of the country.
Fairly heavy showers (above 50 mm) are also likely in some places, especially in the Eastern, Uva, Sabaragamuwa, Central and North-central provinces.
