(UTV|COLOMBO) – 2018 Ordinary Level (O/L) Examination will commence on 03 December, the Department of Examinations stated on Friday (23).
The Examination is scheduled to be held till 12 December while 656,641 applicants are expected to sit the Examination. 422,850 School applicants and 233,791 private applicants will face the Examination.
The Examination will be held at 4,661 Examination Centres while 791 Coordinating Centres will be established.
The Examinations Department also said Special Examination Centres have been set up in the Ratmalana, Tangalle, Matara, Chillaw, and Colombo Magazine Prisons.
The Examinations Department further noted admission cards of school applicants were posted to schools while application cards of private applicants were mailed to their home addresses.
