“We don’t want Wasantha back,” Harsha says

(UTV|COLOMBO) – United National Party (UNP) Parliamentarian Dr. Harsha de Silva stated that the UNP will not accept back Wasantha Senanayake to the Party.

De Silva made this remarks following the reports claimed that Senanayake attended the Cabinet meeting as the Minister of Tourism and Wildlife.

Senanayake who extended his support to President Maithripala Sirisena and Mahinda Rajapaksa, later stated that he decided to extend support to the UNP as the Government did not have majority support in Parliament.

Even though, he asserted that he will be resigning from his Ministerial portfolio but he was never replaced in the Cabinet.
