Leptospirosis spread in Kurunegala; 19 Deaths reported

(UTV|COLOMBO)  – Nineteen deaths have been reported from the Kurunegala District due to the spread of Leptospirosis, the Director General (DG) of Health Services, North-Western Province, M. Sareed said.

In addition, 187 more cases have been reported, and if the farmers are acting according to the instructions given by Public Health Inspectors (PHIs), the Leptospirosis can be averted, Sareed said.
