Objections filed against Special High Court by Gamini Senarath rejected

(UTV|COLOMBO) – Primary objections filed by former President’s Chief of Staff, Gamini Senarath and three others on the jurisdiction of the Special High Court to hear the case filed against them, was rejected on Monday (12).

The Special High Court stated that it has the jurisdiction to hear the case and postponed the case to 14 November.

Senarath has been accused over the alleged misappropriation of Rs. 500 million of State funds.
