Dehiwala, Wellawatte railway services restored

(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – Railway transportation that was suspended between the Dehiwala and Wellawatte Railway Stations along the coastal belt has now been restored.

The Department of Railways said the stretch was closed owing to the replacement of an old bridge and the installation of a new bridge.

Railway transportation was accordingly hampered from the 23rd of February as a result of the renovations.
