(UTV|COLOMBO) – The Constitutional Council will be meeting in the coming week to appoint new members to the National Police Commission which concluded on October 14, said Speaker Karu Jayasuriya today (22).
However, until appointment of the new Commission according to the 19th amendment, the present bureaucratic committee has the support of the operation of the commission.
Speaker Karu Jayasuriya to be visit to Mongolia on an official visit on 27th of this month and the constitutional assembly to be expected to appoint the National Police Commission members before his official visit.
