(UTV|COLOMBO) – The Education Modernisation Project is scheduled to be commenced on Monday (22) under the patronage of Education Minister Akila Viraj Kariyawasam.
The project has received USD 100 million under the World Bank Assistance. The project will be implemented until 2024.
The aim of the project is to improve primary and tertiary education. Many programmes including updating syllabuses and developing schools will take place under the project.
