UNP appoints its first CEO to take charge of administrative affairs

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The United National Party on Thursday (18) appointed the former Opposition Leader of North-Western Province Prasanna Shamal Senarath as its first Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to take charge of the administrative affairs of the party and headquarters.

The proposal for the appointment of a CEO was approved by the UNP Working Committee, and the party General Secretary, Minister Akila Viraj Kariyawasam handed over the letter of appointment to Senarath yesterday.
