(UTV|COLOMBO) – The Government on Thursday (18) released the much-awaited pricing formula system of auto fuels at the Ministry of Finance.
Addressing a media briefing yesterday, the Minister of Finance Mangala Samaraweera stated that the introduction of a formula based pricing system received the approval of the Cabinet of Ministers for implementation with effect from 11 May, 2018.
The pricing formula the Minister said, was accordingly, added with the Maximum Retail Price (MRP) of auto fuels.
The fuel pricing formula is as follows;
